The new British Advocate General
officially started work at the ECJ yesterday. Eleanor Sharpston QC is (not surprisingly) an expert in EU law and has, to date, combined academia with a career at the Bar.
Meanwhile, British former Advocate General, Francis Jacobs QC PC (of
Baby Dry fame, amongst other trade mark cases of note) has been made a
Privy Councillor.
The IPKat wishes them both luck and lots of delicious IP cases.
