SOLE/SMALL PRACTITIONERS' MEETING - LATEST NEWS

Sole practitioners/small practitioners' meeting

More news of the meeting for sole and small IP practitioners on Thursday 16 February, 5 to 7pm: we have a venue. It's the Crown Tavern (right), Clerkenwell Green, London (near Farringdon tube station): details here and here (scroll down for link to map). We meet upstairs in the Apollo Concert Room.

We also have a keynote speaker - Margaret Briffa (left), of Briffa fame. Apart from having first-hand experience of sole practice, Margaret is co-author, with Lee Gage, of Design Law (published by the Law Society in 2004).

Trade mark attorney Alice Mastrovito (Mastrovito & Associates) will be there too. Alice serves on the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys' Continuing Professional Development Committee and takes a keen interest in the way CPD requirements impact on small firms and practitioners in remote areas.

The IPKat would like to express his thanks to Oxford University Press for its generous support. If anyone else would like to help defray the cost of plying some long-suffering souls with drinks and nibbles while listening to their woes and what can be done to alleviate them, just email him here: all contributions will be welcome (and duly invoiced/receipted).
