The latest from the aircraft-influenced carmaker will debut on Top Gear Live at MPH Prestige & Performance Motor Shows in London and Birmingham next month.
Completely hand crafted in the UK, the latest Spyker to be developed by the iconic supercar company boasts a 400 horsepower 4.2-Liter V8 engine. Constructed with sleek aluminium framework, the $340,000-plus convertible comes with a variety of unique additions including a fully automatic folding hood. It is the first Spyker vehicle to have this feature.
Emblazoned around the chassis is the emotive Latin inscription, “Nulla Tenaci Invia Est Via” or “For the tenacious, no road is impassable.”
Spyker’s UK Brand Manager, Tommy Wareham said, “This epic new vehicle provides everything that Spyker stands for, with unparalleled design partnered with ultra exclusivity. We’re looking forward to premiering the C8 Aileron Spyder at the MPH Show, and are sure spectators will appreciate the Spyder’s overwhelming ability and craftsmanship.”
The latest from Aston Martin, Bentley, Caparo, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Pagani and Porsche will also be on display with the Spyker Spyder at the MPH Show. Other products planned for introduction at the Show include the British Arash AF-10 supercar and the UK-tuned supercharged Merdad Cayenne.
