TECHART takes the Panamera to new heights of luxury, design and performance.
TECHART’s new Panamera GrandGT, which will be shown to the public for the first time at the Auto Zurich Car Show in Switzerland from November 11 to 14, raises the bar for serious GT Touring cars. It’s stylish, more powerful and features luxurious interior appointments.
The GrandGT’s exterior package consists of a fiber-reinforced composite based on carbon, glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and polyurethane RIM components. These typically motor sports lightweight materials boast impressive dimensional stability and great strength. The stylish front bumper, with integrated splitter and large ventilation intakes, improves fresh airflow to the engine’s intercooler and cooling of the brakes.
Unique multifunctional daytime running lights integrated in the front bumper, http://www.delonixradar.com.au/led-lights/daytime-running-lights/ give the Panamera not only a distinctive appearance. They combine daytime running lights, position lights, parking lights and turn signals as an LED system unit in a common housing and integrate seamlessly into the design of the Panamera’s front end. TECHART’s Aero engine hood is constructed of high-quality carbon fibers, with air outlets for optimized regulation of the heat balance in the engine compartment.
Stylish side skirts and flared fenders increase the width of the GrandGT by 21mm on each side up front and 42mm on each side of the rear. The design of the rear end incorporates the front’s design and emphasizes the unique character of the sporty, masculine GrandGT. In combination with the unique roof spoiler, the new larger rear spoiler results in even less lift at the rear axle and greater driving stability and active safety – even at high speeds. An additional design feature: the distinctive rear apron with integrated air openings and matching diffuser. The oval dual tail pipes of TECHART’s sporty exhaust system are fully integrated in the vehicle’s rear end. An optional sporty exhaust system with driver valve control can be selected.
Under the Aero-engine hood of the GrandGT is an impressive engine with styling and power-boosting features. TECHART’s styling package consists of carbon fiber cylinder-head covers with red accents. The TA 070/T1 Power Kit boosts power output of the 4.8 twin-turbo engine by 80 horsepower. Pushing the standard sport button the Panamera has a significant increase of performance and driving dynamics. The TECHTRONIC engine management system maintains electronic engine protection and vehicle diagnostics features. A Power Kit equipped Panamera can go to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, to almost 125 mph in 12.5 seconds and top out at over 195 mph! A wide range of Formula light alloy wheels in 21 and 22-inch styles are available for improved road performance.
The GrandGT provides a great ride at all four seats thanks to the wide variety of entertainment options available for the Panamera. Included are an entertainment package with two seven-inch screens seamlessly integrated into the design of the front seat backrests, incorporated in a high-quality leather screen consoles color matched to the interior.
