Powered by a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged and injected 5.3-Litre V8 putting out over 600 horsepower, the radical Bulldog Concept from Newport Pagnell wowed show-goers in 1980. And, at 191 mph, it really turned heads at the MIRA test track. The wedge-shaped gullwing coupe was to be Aston Martin’s answer to Lamborghini (Countach) and BMW (M1). However, just one, a left-hand-drive model was built.
