MASERATI MC12 ON PODIUM AT SPA!

Four MC12s, showcased by the Mueller/Heger entry that nailed a Second, finish at Spa-Francorchamps.

After an exciting recovery, Triple H Team Hegersport's #33 Maserati MC12 nabbed second place at the Spa Championship Race on Saturday, just behind Zonta/Kechele's #25 Lamborghini. After their recovery in the Qualifying Race, Mueller/Heger, who started off from twelfth place, finished second and earned a spot on the podium. It’s Altfrid Heger's second consecutive podium position after his third place at Paul Ricard.

Vitaphone Racing Team's two Maserati MC12s also performed well. The Bernoldi/Ramos duo, which started off from eleventh place, was able to recover and finish fourth.

Bartels/Bertolini's #1 Maserati MC12 finished in seventh place. The car started off from the back of the group due to a forced withdrawal from the Qualifying Race. Thanks to a perfect pit stop and the safety car's appearance for a few laps, Bartels and Bertolini earned important points that will let them keep their leadership in the drivers' standings.

Triple H Team Hegersport's Belgian drivers, Longin/Verdonck, were just behind them, thus rounding out a positive racing day for the Trident's cars, which all earned points.
