Swiss super-tuner Sportec releases 560 & 575 horsepower street performance packages for the twin-turbo Panamera.
Based in Höri, Switzerland, Sportec CH engineers and manufactures performance, dynamic and styling upgrades for a large range of Porsches sold in North America, the EU, and Far East. State of the art technical facilities and a dedication to precision and quality allows Sportec CH to develop exclusive, innovative upgrades, as showcased in the Stage One and Two Panamera packages and new 858-horsepower Porsche SPR1 supercar.
Sportec’s Stage One conversion for the Porsche Panamera Turbo, factory rated at 493 horsepower and 516 foot pounds of torque, uses a custom Sportec ECU, with optimized mapping for fuel, ignition and turbo boost. The results are a Panamera with a dyno proven 560 horsepower @ 6,150 rpm, an increase of 67 horsepower. Torque is increased by 60 foot pounds to 576 at 3,340 rpm. A Stage One Panamera will accelerate to 62 mph in 3.9 secs; has a top speed limited of 190.
Sportec’s Stage Two conversion for the Panamera Turbo features the addition of a cat-back stainless steel sports exhaust system, featuring quad 90-mm-diameter Sportec engraved tail pipes. It also features a pair of “sound throttles,” which enable the owner to define and switch the exhaust note of the car in real time, using a supplied remote controller.
In combination with the Sportec ECU, the Stage Two converted Panamera delivers 575 horsepower @ 5,800 rpm, an improvement of 83 horsepower over stock. Torque is increased by 83 foot pounds to 598 between 3,000-4,250 rpm. The Sportec Stage Two Panamera delivers near supercar levels of performance, going from a standstill to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and topping out at a limited 190 mph.
