New Sport Coupe gets serious horsepower to match its good looks.
Breaking cover next month at the Geneva Auto Show, the 2012 GranTurismo Sport gets some real sport under its hood: 460 horsepower. The 4.7-Liter V8 works its magic thru either a ZF six-speed automatic or an optional six-speed sequential manual. Both transmission choices offer steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, optional on the automatic. Expected performance is 0 to 60 mph sprints in under-5.0 seconds and a 175 to 180 mph top end.
Visually the Coupe has been updated with new front and rear seats and a sporty, muscular steering wheel. Its redesigned front bumper increases airflow to the engine and front brakes. Headlights (LED) are new as are the darker, more aggressive taillights. The Coupe’s styling upgrades are elegant plus enhance its sports GT appeal.
