ASTON MARTIN’S V12 (AD)VANTAGE: THE WAIT IS OVER!

With 12 cylinders, 510 horsepower and 190 mph top speed, the V12 Vantage is Aston Martin’s ultimate sports GT.

Aston Martin’s eagerly awaited V12 Vantage is available in the Americas and pricing starts at $179,995. The Carbon Black Special Edition will set you back $194,995. Based on the hugely successful V8 Vantage, the new model is powered by a 510 horsepower 6.0-litre V12 generating 420 foot-pounds of torque.  It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and tops out at 190 mph.

Offered with a six-speed manual transmission, the V12 Vantage is first and foremost a driver’s car. Aston Martin’s most powerful engine has been installed in its most agile model and has been fitted with carbon ceramic brakes and revised suspension to create a truly potent and dynamic sports car.

The Carbon Black Special Edition is understated and features a bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep, rich patina; painstakingly created through a hand-painting process taking 50 man-hours. The iconic Aston Martin side strake has been fashioned from carbon fiber backed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black, 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels. A bright finished grill and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing.

Inside are swatches of Obsidian Black leather highlighted with a contrasting silver coarse stitch. Also featured are Piano Black facia trim, center stack and center console, anodized black tread plates and unique sill plaques. The normally optional 700w Premium Audio System is standard.

The V12 Vantage is hand-built at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in Gaydon, UK, joining the DBS, DB9 and V8 Vantage model lines. The state-of-the-art production facility combines high-tech manufacturing processes with traditional hand-craftsmanship.

The V12 Vantage is available to order now from Aston Martin dealers in North and South America. Deliveries expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year.
