Smallest, lightest, most fuel-efficient and sexiest Range Rover ever is Motor Trend’s 2012 SUV OF THE YEAR
The Car Guy Chronicles was invited to partake in the celebration today of the Range Rover Evoque receiving the prestigious Motor Trend 2012 SUV OF THE YEAR award. Motor Trend Editor-in-Chief, Angus MacKenzie, above, left presented the award to Andy Goss, President, Jaguar Land Rover North America, on the roof atop Land Rover Manhattan, New York City.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque will be available in two versions: a coupe and a five-door, with prices starting at $43,995. The two versions are identical in overall length and width; the five-door has a 1.18-inch higher roofline. Every Evoque sold in the U.S. will be equipped with all-wheel-drive and a 240-horsepower, turbocharged, direct fuel injected, four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
