GIORGETTO GIUGIARO: ARTISTRY IN MOTION!

Some of the most beautiful designs in the automotive world have come from the pen of Giorgetto Giugiaro. Mike Gulett blogs about the man and his art on My Car Quest.

Italdesign’s Renaissance man has designed pedestrian people movers like the VW Golf, adrenalin-producing Supercars for BMW, Bizzarrini, Bugatti, De Tomaso, Iso & Maserati, and pasta for Marille and cameras for Nikon. He’s also a painter and fine artist. Rivolta GT painting, above, Iso Grifo A/3L, right.

Named Car Designer of the Century in 1999 and inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2002, Giugiaro’s client list is virtually a Who’s Who of automobile manufacturers: Alfa Romeo to Zastava!
